BOSSCAP Group is proud to announce that its wholly owned subsidiary, (AUSEV), has successfully completed its first international export of the all-electric Ford F-150 Lightning to Barbados.
This milestone marks a significant achievement for the Australian electric vehicle manufacturing and advanced modification company, headquartered at the Advanced Manufacturing Queensland facility in Brisbane.
Edward Kocwa, CEO of BOSSCAP Group, said the shipment demonstrates the growing global demand for sustainable transport solutions and underscores Australia’s ability to lead in EV technology and capability.
“This export to Barbados is a proud moment not just for AUSEV, but for Australian advanced manufacturing as a whole,” Mr Kocwa said.
“We’ve taken one of the world’s most iconic vehicles, re-engineered it to meet local and international business and fleet needs, and now we’re seeing global markets respond. From Brisbane to Barbados, we’re showing what it means to be Australian made and globally ready.”
The F-150 Lightning vehicles exported to Barbados have been upfitted to meet local regulatory and operational requirements, supporting fleet decarbonisation across island nations with a focus on energy resilience, towing capacity, and robust commercial use.
This delivery also aligns with AUSEV’s broader mission to support energy transition efforts throughout the Pacific and Caribbean regions by providing electric utility vehicles capable of handling remote infrastructure, emergency response, and renewable energy integration.
“Our focus has always been on more than just EVs, it’s about creating future ready solutions for communities that need them most,” Mr Kocwa added. “We’re committed to delivering technology that is tough, sustainable, and tailored to local conditions.”
AUSEV’s first international delivery is part of a growing pipeline of regional partnerships, with further deployments being scoped for other island nations in the Caribbean and Pacific.
