AUSEV, in collaboration with Advanced Manufacturing Queensland (AMQ), is proud to announce the official launch of Australia’s first-ever right-hand drive 4×4 fully electric mining and construction ute. After months of rigorous testing in some of Queensland and Western Australia’s toughest and most remote mine sites, the revolutionary vehicle is now rolling off the production line, marking a significant milestone in Australia’s manufacturing and clean energy transition.
Edward Kocwa, CEO of AUSEV parent company BOSSCAP Group, expressed his excitement about the launch, highlighting the vehicle’s durability and performance in extreme conditions.
“We’ve pushed this vehicle to its absolute limits across some of the harshest mining environments in the country, and it has proven itself time and time again. Now, we are thrilled to bring it to market, providing a powerful, reliable, safe and sustainable alternative for the mining and construction sectors.”
AUSEV and AMQ are both proudly 100% Australian Owned, employing a local workforce close to 100 people in Queensland. This milestone is a testament to their commitment to keeping manufacturing in Australia while supporting local jobs and industries.
“This is more than just the launch of a vehicle – it’s a statement about the future of Australian manufacturing. We are determined to lead the charge in producing world-class right hand drive electric vehicles right here in Australia, keeping jobs local and ensuring we have a sovereign capability in the growing EV industry,” Kocwa said.
As industries across Australia and the globe look to decarbonise, AUSEV’s electric ute is set to play a crucial role in helping companies transition to cleaner, greener operations. The vehicle is designed to significantly reduce emissions while maintaining the rugged durability required for the harsh conditions of mining and construction sites.
“This historic launch is all about supporting Australian businesses to meet their sustainability targets while driving innovation in our own backyard. We are proud to be at the forefront of this transition, not just in Australia but on an international scale, enabling businesses to operate more efficiently and sustainably,” Kocwa added.
The introduction of this cutting-edge electric ute is a pivotal moment for Australia’s clean energy future, demonstrating that innovation and sustainability can go hand in hand with local job creation and industry growth.
AUSEV looks forward to working with industry partners to integrate these vehicles into fleets across the country, proving that Australian manufacturing can compete on a global stage while leading the transition to a cleaner and greener future.
