AUSEV and Advanced Manufacturing Queensland (AMQ) is proud to announce an exciting new partnership with the iconic Lakeside Park (Lakeside Raceway). This collaboration marks a major milestone in Australia’s journey towards electrification, as the first-ever 4×4 fully electric vehicle, the Ford F-150 Lightning, is put to the test on Australian soil.
As 100% Australian-owned organisations, AUSEV and AMQ are committed to pioneering innovation in electric vehicle technology while championing Australian sovereignty and sustainability. This partnership with Lakeside Park provides the perfect platform to showcase the capabilities of the F-150 Lightning, a vehicle designed to meet the unique demands of Australian conditions, from rugged terrains to off-road challenges.
Advanced Manufacturing Queensland is also proud to be the only company in Australia equipped to perform conversions of vehicles like the F-150 Lightning from left-hand drive to right-hand drive, making them road-ready for Australia and other right-hand-drive countries.
Edward Kocwa, CEO of BOSSCAP Group, the parent company of AMQ and AUSEV, expressed his enthusiasm for this landmark collaboration:
“Partnering with Lakeside Park is a natural fit for AUSEV and AMQ. Lakeside has long been a hub for innovation and community support in Queensland. By testing the F-150 Lightning at such an iconic venue, we’re not only proving that Australian organisations can lead the charge in electrification but also supporting a local institution that has given so much to our community.
This is a proud moment for all of us who believe in Australia’s potential to shape the future of electric vehicles.” The F-150 Lightning tests will focus on its performance in various real-world scenarios, including off-road and towing capabilities, further solidifying its place as a game-changer for Australian industries like mining, construction, and agriculture.
Lakeside Park Manager, John Tetley, also praised the partnership:
“We are thrilled to work with AUSEV and Advanced Manufacturing Queensland on this historic occasion. Lakeside Park has always been at the forefront of motorsport and automotive innovation, and hosting Australia’s first-ever electric 4×4 vehicle testing is another milestone we’re honoured to be part of.”
This partnership is a testament to AUSEV and AMQ’s unwavering dedication to electrifying Australia while maintaining a strong focus on Australian-made solutions and empowering local businesses. By collaborating with community-focused organisations like Lakeside Park, AUSEV and AMQ continue to lead the way toward a sustainable and sovereign electric future.
